The Batan is a traditional object of the pre-Columbian culture, used to extract the essences and aromas of the plants through the movement of the stone (wawa). The piece Batan explores the performatic dimension of this tool, which allows the interaction between the body, the plants and the minerals in the form of an ancient ritual.
