Map of Lima is a work made from waste from the construction industry, found on the beaches of the green coast of Lima. The waste material – composed of concrete, steel, plastic – is recycled and re-poured in the form of a map, which shows the current area of Lima’s urban centre. The piece is a diagram of the accelerated urbanization and construction process of what was once a large agricultural valley.
