FLORIPOND N°3

We inhabit the world surrounded by plant species, organisms that produce oxygen and make life on the surface of the earth possible. House gardens are interior spaces that have allowed us the daily coexistence with these living beings. In tropical latitudes the biodiversity and exuberance of plant life is part of everyday life, and we constantly interact with it. Vegetalia is a series of pieces that seek the continuity of the outside plant world, a garden, and our interior spaces in tropical latitudes. An everyday object like a lamp is reconfigured from the structure of plant organisms. The pieces are based on the exploration of two local species, Guadua angustifolia and Brugmansia arborea
